Sweeeeet. Die Kölner Epic-Crust Band Arktika wird am 22.Okt ihre neue Scheibe “at zero” auf dem Kieler Label Narshaarda releasen. Einen Titel mit dem Namen “We Live Our Lives In Black” könnt ihr euch schon auf deren Myspace anhören.

Die Italienische Epic-Screamo Band Magdalene postete folgende Infos in ihrem Blog:
“After a couple of months of silence, some updates…
the release of our full lenght has been delayed and the tour cancelled due to some band issues; for the same reasons, Alberto is not playing in Magdalene anymore, and we’re currently rearranging the songs with our new guitar player Michele.
Anyway the record will be released in september/october by Sons Of Vesta. we’ve uploaded one of the four songs here, check it out. We’ve also recorded a fifth song for a future split with Brother/Ghost, from the u.s.a., more infos soon.”
Traeos? Hö? Ja. Mir gings genauso. Aber siehe da. Die waren schonmal Vorband für The Locust und releasen ihre neue Scheibe auf Ampire Rec., das Label auf dem auch die Endnote Platte erschienen ist. Mnemosyne heißt das gute Stück und ist nach ihrer sehr gelobten [ Demo of the Month im METAL HAMMER und Heavy Magazine ] “The Aion Drive – EP” ihr bis dato zweites Release.
Ja, was erwartet den gepflegten Hörer bei dieser Platte? Düsterer Posthardcore der den großen Amerikanern in nichts nachhängt, nein, mir eigentlich sogar besser gefällt. Traeos schufen mit Mnemosyne eine verdammt gute Debüt-LP. Sie schaffen den Balanceakt aus atmosphärischen und Powerparts geradezu spielend, ohne dabei falsch, oder uninnovativ zu klingen und das in dem ziemlich überfüllten Land der Posthardcore-Bands. Wem Underoath sowieso schon immer zu luschig und zu Sellout waren und man muss zugeben…. Aaron geht einem schon aufen Sack, sollte sich diese Scheibe auf jeden Fall mal geben. Ich werde es mir gerne noch ein Paar mal mehr anhören.
